SEEING COLOR

Brooke’s colorful bold approach to acrylic painting adds a contemporary flair to a traditional art form. She picked up the brush in high school in Southern California and began plein air painting in 2009 in Oregon where she earned her BFA from the UofO in 2010. With a constant need to capture beauty, her dedicated energy to her practice offers fresh and unique views into our surrounding landscape.
Over the past decade as an exhibiting artist she has developed her own distinct style that has won numerous awards and earned her recognition in both SW Art and Plein Air Magazines. She exhibits her work in PNW galleries along with other local Seattle businesses and art walks.

MAY 11, 2023 : MOLLY MURRAH : WATERCOLORS, Molly’s work is languid & mesmerizing, captivating & soulful.
MARCH 9, 2023 : MAGDALÉNA COONEY : NATURE IN ABSTRACT FORM, Fom puppet theaters to fine art, Magdaléna emerged as a self-taught artist from an alternate world of larger-than-life characters.
FEBRUARY 9, 2023 : JESSE LINK : DWELLERS, Jesse's newest work will be on display for this long overdue exhibit depicting animals & wildlife in fantastic open-ended narrative scenes.
JANUARY 12, 2023 : SANDI VETTER : Ephemeral & beautifully poetic botanical mandalas & animals are only preserved by a photograph. The original art is swept away into the garden compost as it’s all foraged organic matter.
